My [Against The Light] Review

Got my <逆光> album at around 7+pm. I went to popular to check whether if the stock has arrive because alot people post in Yanziunlimited forum that their area's stocks has arrived since afternoon. But my area Popular was closed for annual stock taking.

Rush back home and started listen the album. Especially when my Window Media Player played Track 4, I was HIGH-ing till the track ended. Haha.

01. The The Beginning- 8/10
An instrumental track that I feel it sounds abit like one of those played in Da Chang Jing drama. Makes me look forward to what's in the album. 很有想像空間.

02. 逆光- 9/10
This song is very powerful as the song will keep repeating in your head after it was played a few times. Especially at the 2nd chorus part, the song starts to get more rock. A very nice and powerful song sang by Yanzi. Loves it.

03. 夢遊- 8.5/10
I love the melody. Very 舒服 track that is suitable to listen before sleeping. I like the up and down of her voice in song. It sounds like those simple songs we used to learn during music lessons in primary schools. Haha.

04. 咕嘰咕嘰- 9.5/10
A very funny and cool song. The lyrics though sound meaningless but it is very funny and cute. This song is suitable when you just woke up and it will make you HIGH and happy throughout the day. The way she sing the rap part, which is written by her, is so cute. I love the slow part of the song.

05. 我懷念的- 9.5/10
Another 抒情歌 by Yanzi. It sounds like 我不難過 part 2. I like when she sing the chorus when she was about to release all her energy but kept back. The MV also matches the song. Simply the next no.1 K song.

06. 安寧- 7.5/10
A very Yanzi song I feel. I like what the lyricist is trying to say. Especially this part "你的离去就像刺青 永远烙印在我的心 是如此痛而如此的美丽".

07. 飄著- 9.5/10
I just simply loves this song. This song is the most powerful song I felt in this album. I like the chorus part. Yanzi sings it too well. Fantastic song. This song is the 3rd best song in this album.

08. 愛情的花樣- 6.5/10
Don't really like this song. This song sounds like those played in discos in the 80s. But its shocking that the "Pi Li Peh Leh" front part is the reverse of 直來直往 rap part.

09. 漩渦- 6/10
Abit dissapointed as Yanzi said she sang it alot of times but yet the result is not very good. Like the part of the trumpet I think. This song didn't leave alot of impression on me.

10. 需要你- 7.5/10
A typical Yanzi song. Like the way she sings the chorus then 拉高音. This song is better than 漩渦 by alot. =x

11. 關於- 8/10
I like the guitar and the drum part. After I listen once yesterday night. My whole head is repeating this song. Don't know why, especially the drum beats.

12. Afterward- 8/10
A very soothing instrumental track to calm you down after you listen to all the high and low tracks of the album.

Overall- 8/10
After the long await of 1.5 years, finally she releases <逆光>. Didn't dissapoint me. Doesn't have any "ba lah" songs or whatsoever. But there are still songs I don't really like but overall this is a MUST ＢＵＹ ALBUM!!!! =D
